The Stick Man Trail is a fun family walk of 4.2 km through the forests of Kattevennen.

With the help of an app, activity booklet or storybook, you’ll discover the mysterious Stick Men hidden in the forest and learn their story along the way. The trail also takes you past some of the most beautiful spots in Kattevennen.

How does it work?

The trail starts at the visitor centre of Kattevennen.
Follow the small Stick Men, they are your guides. Look closely at the direction they are facing, as they will point you towards the next one.

The walk, and the story, ends back at the visitor centre.

Good to know

• The route, storybook, activity booklet and app are available at the visitor centre (€5)
• With the stories included, the walk takes around 2 hours
• The route is accessible for strollers and wagons with thick wheels
  (for strollers with small wheels, it can be more challenging)
• There are few benches along the route, but you’re welcome to sit on a Stick Man to take a break
• The trail itself is freely accessible

• Suitable for children aged 4 and up
