The adventure forest for dogs is the largest off-leash area in Genk.
Located in Kattevennen, this 5-hectare wooded zone is the perfect place for dogs to run, play and explore freely.
Marked walking paths of about 1 kilometre guide owners through the area, while dogs can roam off-leash. You’ll find the zone behind the planetarium, right in the middle of nature, also a great spot to enjoy a peaceful walk yourself.
The fenced area has two entrance gates and includes a separate section for smaller dogs.
In this zone, your dog can roam freely without a leash.
Outside of designated off-leash areas, dogs must always be kept on a leash.
Loose dogs can scare or even harm other animals or visitors. These rules help keep everyone safe. If your dog is off-leash outside the permitted zone, you may risk a fine.
Dog waste must always be cleaned up, both inside and outside the off-leash area.
Make sure you always carry waste bags with you.
